post-project interview
What was the challenge you were facing when you first engaged with True Nature?
'We were launching a new way of working, bringing multiple service lines together, along with a new way of marketing and presenting our service offering.'
How did True Nature approach your project / what was the proposed solution?
'True Nature’s approach was to work with small groups from across the business unit. Each group would attend a workshop session where ideas would be shared and they would complete excercise to help define the value of our services and how to present them. This would show those individuals, from all levels, that there is a part everyone can play and not just those involved regularly in marketing and business development.'
How did your team find the structure of the sessions & content?
'By getting small mixed groups together, each session was interactive and inclusive and helped with peoples understanding of each others services. There was a strong focus on building confidence, which does not always come easy when it comes to new ideas. It is improving collaboration and encouraging working better together as a unit to ultimately provide an even better client service. It also helped with getting people together that may not always work together and appreciate each others service lines and expertise.'
What impact have you seen (or do you expect to see) as a result of the project?
'People have been referencing the sessions and using the terminology in everyday situations. It is great to see that it has gone down so well and being ingrained in people’s minds. We are already seeing positive stories coming out from individuals from the groups.'
What advice would you give to other firms looking to embark on similar projects?
'Go for it, having external input adds value and gives new ideas to follow through and incorporate into your business development strategy.'
TOP TIP
Belief is everything - sales isn't about confidence or ability to present. Its about believing you have the solution to a problem
