post-project interview

What was the challenge you were facing when you first engaged with True Nature?

'Murray provided a taster session at a DFK UK & Ireland marketing group meeting and his clear messaging resonated with the marketing team at Shaw Gibbs.

There was a need for a structured training approach for our Managers and Assistant Managers so that they could take some time to pause, reflect, and reconnect while addressing practical business goals.

We were looking for True Nature to assist our teams in asking the right questions in order to open up cross-servicing and lead generation opportunity.'

How did True Nature approach your project / what was the proposed solution?

'True Nature took time to understand our context and challenges before proposing a tailored program.  Murray designed sessions that combined learning, reflection, team discussions, and practical tools to help the group address immediate issues and long‑term growth.  Their approach was collaborative, ensuring our team felt ownership of the process.'

How did your team find the structure of the sessions & content?

'The sessions were consice and well‑structured. They balanced theory with interactive exercises which kept meant everyone could engage in thier own way. The content was accessible, relevant, and presented in a way that made it directly applicable to the participants day-jobs. Murray's understanding of the accounting industry definitely helped in translating some of the business developed focused concepts into something the team could relate to.'

What impact have you seen (or do you expect to see) as a result of the project?

'We’ve already noticed stronger communication and alignment across the team.  Longer term, we expect improved BD resilience, collaboration, and a more values‑driven culture. And of course giving people confidence to start new converations in the right way means our client relationships will not just go deeper, but will be longer lasting.'

What advice would you give to other firms looking to embark on similar projects?

'Invest the time; the benefits extend beyond the sessions into everyday operations.  Choose a partner like True Nature who can tailor the experience to your unique context alongside brining sector-experience to the table.'

Belief is everything - sales isn't about confidence or ability to present. Its about believing you have the solution to a problem
